Description
Tamils, Muslims, Burghers and Malays are no longer minorities. All are Sri Lankan Sinhalese. There are now only two national indentities; patriots and non-patriots. The latter is now the minority. In his address to Parliament, President Mahinda Rajapaksa urges the Tamil Diaspora including academics and professionals to return to Sri Lankaand help in rebuilding the country. He addressed a part of his speech in Tamil as well. Says a solution will be ours and not anything imposed by another country. “දෙමළ, මුස්ලිම් බර්ගර් සහා මැලේ යනුවෙන් සුළු ජාතියක් මින් පසු ශ්රී ලංකාව තුළ නැත. සියල්ලෝම ශ්රී ලංකික සිංහලයෝ වෙති”. යන ගාම්භීර ප්රකාශය ශ්රී ලංකාව තුළ වෙසෙන සියළු ම ජනයා වෙත අතිගරු ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂය උතුමාණන් විසින් අද දින (2009-05-19) සිව්වන පාර්ලීමෙන්තු සැසි වාරය කාතාව පවත්වමින් පැවසීය. අතිගරු ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහාතා විසින් අද දින පඬු අබා රජු විසින් ගොඩ නැඟු සිංහල ජාතියට නැවත පුළුල් අර්ථ කතනයක් දී ඇතැයි දේශයේ උගතුන් සහා බුද්ධිමතුන් විසින් ප්රකාශ කර සිටිති.
