Description
What is going on in the North is a struggle to consolidate the right to life of the working and innocent people of this country. It is the responsibility of my Government to resettle as soon as possible, the people who are fleeing from the LTTE and to ensure their right to an unhindered life. I take responsibility to fulfill the basic needs of not only those who have crossed over but also those who are yet to cross over to Government controlled areas. “Let us unite to develop the country and the Nation in the same manner we united and overcame the tsunami tragedy. (From Lankapuwath) රටට අහිතකර කොන්දේසිවලට යටවී විදේශිකයන් කියන කියන ආකාරයට අපේ රටේ ආර්ථිකය නැටවීමට සූදානම් නැතැයි ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා ප්රකාශ කෙළේය. “වැඩ කරමු - රට හදමු!” තේමාව යටතේ ඊයේ (01) අරලියගහ මන්දිරයේ පැවැති ලෝක මැයි දින සැමැරුම් උත්සවය අමතා කතා කරමින් ජනාධිපතිවරයා එසේ කීය (දිනමිණ ඇසුරින්)
